PROBLEM: Over time, power steering fluid becomes contaminated and can lead to premature wear in the power steering system. Waste products of oxidation, hose material and metallic debris accumulate in the fluid. Power steering pumps circulate this contaminated fluid through the system under extremely high pressure. Abrasive wear in the power steering pump and steering rack assembly may lead to increased pump noise, erratic steering and eventual mechanical failure.

SOLUTION: Castle® recommends regular service of your power steering system. A technician adds Castle® Mega Flush™ to the power steering system, safely and efficiently removing accumulated residue. Then the contaminated fluid and suspended debris are thoroughly flushed out. Drive belts, hoses and connections are checked for signs of wear. Specially formulated Castle® Power Steering Fluid & Conditioner™ is then installed. This fluid contains a complex mixture of anti-oxidants and anti-wear agents that protect against excessive wear in the spool valve housing, prevent fluid breakdown and extend the life and lubricity of the fluid. Special seal conditioners keep seals pliable, preventing annoying fluid leaks.

Directions for Use: Remove power steering fluid reservoir cap. Remove 8 oz. of old fluid. Add one bottle of Castle® Mega Flush™ to reservoir. Turn steering wheel lock to lock several times to circulate the treated fluid. Using the Power Steering Flush Tool, drain and refill system with Castle® Power Steering Conditioner.

Additional Fluid Compatibility Information: Castle® Power Steering Fluid and Conditioner™ is compatible with all types of power steering systems including imported brands such as Honda, Volvo, Saab, etc. It may be used as a replacement fluid for these and all other manufacturers’ power steering fluids.
