DESCRIPTION: Castle® I-100™ is pleasantly scented and available with lemon or citrus fragrance. It may be used for cleaning and disinfecting hard, non-porous, inanimate surfaces (glass, metal, plastic, glazed porcelain, linoleum, tile, leather, vinyl, enamel, and finished wood surfaces) on walls, floors appliances, and furnishings in work areas. Castle® I-100™ can be used for cleaning and deodorizing of garbage cans, garbage trucks, industrial waste receptacles, and other garbage handling equipment.

USES: Castle® I-100™ Disinfectant is effective against a wide variety of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Use Castle® I-100™ for general disinfection. Castle® I-100™ Disinfectant reduces the surface tension of water, improving its wetability. Microbes are capable of mass reproduction in sub-visible pores, scratches, and cracks in surfaces. The excellent wetability of Castle® I-100™ improves the penetration of the use solution into areas that otherwise might not be reached. Castle® I-100™ mixes with water to form clear, stable use solutions. Use solutions are noncorrosive and nonstaining to plastic, vinyl, synthetics, enamel, tile, and most common metals. Castle® I-100™ Disinfectant is effective at 5 oz./gal. against Pseudomonas aeruginosa PRD-10, Salmonella choleraesuis ATCC 10708, and Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538 when tested by the A.O.A.C. Use Dilution Test Method for precleaned, hard, nonporous, inanimate environmental surfaces. Castle® I-100™ is also an effective virucide at 5 oz./gal. for influenza virus, Type A, Brazil and Herpes Simplex Type 2 on inanimate environmental surfaces. When applied as directed to precleaned, hard, nonporous surfaces, Castle® I-100™ also kills the following organisms at 5oz./gal.: Candida albicans, Escherichia coli, Streptococcus pyogeries, Enterobacter aerogenes, Shigella sonnei.

DIRECTIONS: Select the proper dilution for your use. Apply the use solution with a clean mop, sponge, cloth, squeegee, or mechanical scrubber. Prepare fresh use solutions daily. Do not reuse solutions. Discard solutions when they become visibly soiled. For disinfection, thoroughly wet the surfaces to be treated. Surfaces must remain moist for at least 10 minutes to assure proper germicidal action.

Cleaning:
To clean and deodorize or to preclean prior to disinfection: Depending on the soil level of the area to be cleaned, use 12 to 16 oz. of Castle® I-100™ per gallon of water.

Disinfecting:
Hospitals, veterinary clinics, nursing homes: Use 10 oz. of Castle® I-100™ per 1.5 gallons of water (1 part to 18 parts water) for one-step cleaning and disinfection of areas with light to medium soil loads. For heavily soiled areas, pre-clean as described above and then disinfect with Castle® I-100™ at 5 oz. per gallon (1 part to 24 parts water).

Industrial areas, barber shops, restrooms, restaurants, food and meat processing plants (non-food processing areas), other non-medical uses:
Preclean surfaces. Then, disinfect with a solution of 4 oz. of I-100™ per 1.5 gallons of water (1 part to 18 parts water).

For deodorizing garbage cans, garbage trucks, industrial waste receptacles, and garbage handling equipment:
It is especially important to preclean for the product to perform properly. Then, apply a wetting concentration of 16 oz. of Castle® I-100™ Disinfectant per gallon of water (1 part to 7 parts water).

For mildew control:
Follow directions for hospital disinfection. Repeat treatment every seven days or when new growth appears.
