Moffitt Takes Over Points Lead

Castle Racing Team / Andy Santerre Motorsports (ASM) developmental driver Brett Moffitt moved into first place in the overall NASCAR Camping World East Series point standings with a third-place finish at last weekend’s Tioga Downs Casino 125 at Watkins Glen International.

Moffitt, driving the Castle Packs Power #44 Chevy, surpassed former standings leader Joey Lavender and now sits alone at the top with 764 points.

In five starts, the 16-year-old rookie has one win and four top-five finishes.
