2003 Highlights

Nov 22: Andy Santerre was the center of attention at the NASCAR Busch North Series Awards Banquet held at the Mohegan Sun Casino. In addition to his second consecutive Championship Title, Santerre took home the Sportsmanship Award and "Most Popular Driver," among many other awards and honors.

Nov 7-8: NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown Event: Santerre took the checkered flag for the second of two qualifying races. The Busch North Series drivers dominated the weekend outdriving the NASCAR Winston West Series, with 10 of the top 15 finishing positions. Santerre was the first Busch North finisher, taking second place in the field of 30 cars for the Busch Grand National competition . Click here for details...

Oct 20: Santerre is invited to race at the inaugural Toyota All-Stars Showdown on the weekend of Nov. 6-8, a championship race for drivers from NASCAR's Busch Grand National and Elite Series and Divisions. Click here for details...

Sep 28: The NASCAR Busch North Series 2003 second race at Stafford Motor Speedway was rained out. It has been rescheduled for October 4.

Sep 19: Under the threat of Hurricae Isabel, the Busch North race was cancelled. It will not be rescheduled.

Aug 23: Andy returned to his hometown of Scarborough, ME to take 5th place at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway. For the third time this season, he also took the PowerAde Move of the Race Award for advancing 11 positions from start to finish.
