Caisse and Andy Santerre Make Special Appearances
Castle Products, Inc. will host a special appearance of Andy Santerre and Sean Caisse on Friday, July 7, 2006 from 4:00-7:00 pm at the Castle Hi-Tech Center. The event falls on the eve of Saturday, July 8th’s Local Dodge Dealers NASCAR Busch East 150 presented by Hamot and Highmark at Lake Erie Speedway (LES). Free burgers, hot dogs, corn-on-the-cob and salt potatoes will be served. Santerre and Caisse will be on hand for interviews and autographs throughout the evening. The Castle FIREBALL Show Car and the Casella Waste Systems / Castle Products #44 NASCAR Busch East Monte Carlo will be on display. Castle Racing Team Captain Andy Santerre won the inaugural NASCAR BES race at LES in 2003 during his record-breaking, 4-time consecutive Championship run (2002-2005). Santerre now finds himself in the role of owner/manager, mentoring 2005 “Rookie of the Year” Sean Caisse to realize his own Championship dreams. Caisse was named “Rookie of the Race” for the 2005 race at LES with a solid top-10 finish, and has been a serious force to be reckoned with on the BES circuit so far this season. After some tough luck of parts failure at Thompson on June 29, Caisse approaches the LES race with more focus and determination to finish in the front and follow up his season-opening pair of wins with yet another checkered flag. Castle got its beginning in 1970, and today operates a 100,000 square foot manufacturing plant / headquarters in Rochester, NY. The Castle Hi-Tech Center in Erie, PA was built in 1988.
