Finger Lakes Bridge Antibacterial Foaming Hand Soap |
FDA Approved, Kills 99.99% of germs that cause illness. Patented moisturizing and conditioning formula. Ideal antimicrobial protection after contact with dirt or bacteria.
The active ingredient, Benzalkonium Chloride(BZK), has been widely used in the health care industry for over 60 years. BZK was first discovered by German Nobel laureate, Gerhard Domagk in 1935, and was quickly regarded as a highly effective disinfectant and antiseptic. After repeated use, it does NOT demonstrate to remove natural skin oils which makes for an excellent alternative to alcohol-based hand sanitizers. In 2006 the Office of Pesticide Programs at the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Antimicrobials Division noted that products containing Benzalkonium Chloride could be used as disinfectants, general cleaners, and deodorizers in the home. In 2019, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) cleared the over the counter sale of Benzalkonium Chloride-produced hand hygiene products. |
